According to the Resolution, the Minister of Finance of Vietnam shall take charge and cooperate with relevant agencies in urgently completing Directives of the Prime Minister of Vietnam on accelerating the data connection and sharing for the development of e-commerce, tax loss prevention, and currency security assurance according to directives in Notification No. 330/TB-VPCP dated October 18, 2022:
To utilize surplus revenues of the state budget more efficiently on the basis of accelerating digital transformation, application of information technology, connection, and data sharing in the collection management regarding operations of e-commerce and submit presentations to the Prime Minister of Vietnam within March 2023.
To strengthen the tax collection regarding several specific professions and fields, especially food and beverage services, based on the application of digital technology and identify it as the focal task in 2023.
To thoroughly cut or reduce recurrent expenditures and tasks of expenses that are not urgent such as business trips, celebrations, seminars, conferences, etc.
Additionally, the State Bank of Vietnam shall urgently submit presentations to the Government of Vietnam for the promulgation of a Decree that amends Decree No. 31/2022/ND-CP within February 2023 to solve difficulties and problems, accelerate the disbursement of the 2% interest rate support package via systems of commercial banks; etc.
