According to the Official Dispatch No.
762/BYT-DP dated February 21, 2022 regarding medical isolation of COVID-19 patients and close contacts (F1), people getting at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccines as legally required with the last dose received no less than 14 days, or recovering from COVID-19 within 03 months, before being claimed to be F1 cases should be isolated in the following manners:
- Remain at home, accommodation or other facilities satisfying isolation requirements that are designated by local authorities or schools for their 5-day self-isolation from the last day of exposure;
- Get PCR or antigen tests for SARS-CoV-2 on the 5th day of isolation performed by medical staff or by themselves under the medical staff’s offline or online supervision.
If test results are negative, isolated persons should continue to self-monitor their health condition in the next 5 days and strictly follow 5K-Message rules. If there is any abnormal health trouble, they should notify the health agency for further monitoring, testing and treatment actions to be taken as per regulations.
In addition, these instructions encompass guidance on isolation of F1 cases not receiving full vaccine doses or unvaccinated yet, and guidance on isolation of COVID-19 patients.
The Official Dispatch No. 762/BYT-DP is replacing the Official Dispatch No. 10696/BYT-MT dated December 16, 2021.
