Procedures for interconnection between business registration agencies and social security agencies are now available for use

The Government has just promulgated the Decree No. 122/2020/ND-CP on the coordination and interconnection of procedures for registration of establishment of enterprises, branches, representative offices, preparation of personnel activities, grant of codes for entities participating in social insurance and registration for use of corporate invoices.

According to the document, procedures for coordination and interconnection between business registration agencies and social security agencies are regulated as follows:

- After grant of enterprise, branch or representative office establishment registration, business registration agencies must share the following information with social security agencies:

+ Information about the Certificate of Enterprise Registration, the Certificate of Registration for Operation of Branch or Representative Office.

+ Information about estimated total personnel, business lines, method of social insurance contribution of specific enterprises, branches and representative offices.

- Whenever there is any change in contents of enterprise, branch or representative office registration, business registration agencies must share information about the Certificate of Enterprise Registration, the Certificate of Registration for Operation of Branch or Representative Office with social security agencies.

- ID code of the enterprise, branch or representative office, which is used as the code of an entity participating in the social insurance program.

- When any enterprise, branch or representative office pays social insurance contributions, social security agencies must share information about the number of employees paying social insurance contributions with business registration agencies for the purpose of state management of enterprises already obtaining establishment registrations.

Decree No. 122/2020/ND-CP is entering into force on October 15, 2020.
