Regulations on distancing of passengers aboard motor vehicles or planes to be abolished on May 7

Ministry of Transport issues the Official Dispatch No. 4306/BGTVT-CYT providing instructions about implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control measures on means of passenger transport as a way to prepare for new normalities.

By this document, they send transportation service providers with the following notifications:

- All of regulations on distancing of passengers aboard means of transport (including buses, taxicabs, passenger vehicles, trains, airplanes, ships, etc.) are going to be lifted.

Commencing at 00.00 a.m., May 7, 2020.

- Meanwhile, regulations on Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control measures must be strictly observed, including but not limited to the followings:

+ Property wearing face masks in public areas (like terminals, rail stations, bus stations, etc.) and on board means of passenger transportation while travelling;

+ Making required health declarations;

+ Frequently washing hands with soap or sanitizers (containing at least 60% alcohol).

Official Dispatch No. 4306/BGTVT-CYT is issued on May 6, 2020.
