According to this document, temporary instructions about payment of insured medical costs to which cardholders are entitled during their concentrated health quarantine period and in other cases likely to arise during the COVID-19 outbreak.
More specifically, during their concentrated health quarantine against COVID-19, if any cardholders need to receive medical care at healthcare establishments, below are the instructions for their entitlement to health insurance-covered medical costs:
- Medical costs covered by the state budget include:
+ Medical costs related to COVID-19, such as health check-up service, medical bed service, technical health service, medicines, blood for transfusion or fluids for infusion, etc. according to instructions given by the Ministry of Health;
+ Copays the cardholders are paid for treatment of other diseases;
+ Medical costs falling outside of the health insurance plan;
+ Costs incurred from health quarantine activities
- The health insurance plan covers other part of medical costs to which cardholders have the rights and, in this case, health insurance cover rates will be the same as rates of the medical costs covered by the state budget as mentioned above.
