Specifically, according to the Decision No. 1246, the concentrated health quarantine taking place at hotels or resorts will be applied to mandatorily quarantined persons willing to pay for it.
However, in the Official Dispatch No. 1441 issued after that, Ministry of Health has requested that, for the time being, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-affiliated cities can provide such accommodation to foreigners such as experts, business chief executives, highly qualified workers, etc.
During the quarantine period, quarantined persons must strictly comply with the following regulations:
- Isolating themselves at their rooms, preventing themselves from going out of their rooms or coming into any close contact with others inside quarantine zones where not necessary;
- Wearing face masks when in close contact with others;
- Picking up clean clothes and fabric items available at room doors, and leaving them again at room doors after use for laundry service;
- Do not turn on air conditioners where not necessary (or setting the temperature of 26°C when using air conditioners and increasing air ventilation inside their rooms);
- Watching for their own health condition, and informing front-desk staff or health officers when such symptoms as fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, and other abnormal condition, occurs;
- Providing meals according to each hotel's dietary regimen at fixed time during day and only allowing other supplies sent from outside once a day at a fixed time.
