Hot news: Range of region-specific minimum unit costs of construction labor is about to take effect

This is the highlight of the Circular No. 15/2019/TT-BXD providing instructions on determination of unit construction labor costs.

Pursuant to the Circular, the Ministry of Construction has published the range of unit construction labor costs for 4 regions based on region-specific minimum regulatory pay rates.

Following instructions given in this Circular, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-affiliated cities can formulate the respective ranges of unit construction labor costs according to the below-mentioned range adopted by the Ministry of Construction:

- Range of unit labor costs of construction workers, drivers and operators of construction equipment, and construction survey engineers:

+ Region I: From 213,000 – 280,000 dong/day;

+ Region II: From 195,000 – 260,000 dong/day;

+ Region III: From 180,000 – 246,000 dong/day;

+ Region IV: From 172,000 – 237,000 dong/day.

- Range of unit labor costs of masters, chief mates or operators of river or sea-going vessels, seafarers, machinists and technicians:

+ Region I: From 348,000 – 520,000 dong/day;

+ Region II: From 319,000 – 477,000 dong/day;

+ Region III: From 296,000 – 443,000 dong/day;

+ Region IV: From 280,000 – 422,000 dong/day.

- Range of unit labor costs of artisans and divers:

+ Region I: From 590,000 – 620,000 dong/day;

+ Region II: From 540,000 – 568,000 dong/day;

+ Region III: From 504,000 – 527,000 dong/day;

+ Region IV: From 479,000 – 502,000 dong/day.
