Pursuant to the Decree, hotels and boarding houses that commit violations will be fined at the relevant rates, specifically including:
- The fine worth from VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000 for one of the following errors:
+ Informing about their business after the prescribed deadlines.
+ Failing to publicly disclose prices of goods and services in accordance with regulations.
- The fine worth from VND 1,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 for one of the following errors:
+ Failing to inform about business address changes in accordance with regulations.
+ Failing to inform about their business before commencement in accordance with regulations.
- The fine worth from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 for failure to publicly disclose their internal rules in accordance with regulations.
- The fine worth from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 for failure to assure legitimate rights and benefits under contracts with holidaymakers.
- The fine worth from VND 1,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 for one of the following errors:
+ Failing to provide face towels or bath towels meeting regulatory requirements;
+ Failing to change bedcovers, mats or blanket covers or pillow covers before new guest’s check-in, etc.
Attention:
The aforesaid fines will be applied to violating individuals while organizations making the same errors will be subject to the fines which are 02 times more than as those imposed on violating individuals.
The Decree No. 45/2019/NĐ-CP is set to enter into force on August 1, 2019.
