On the slogan “professionalism, distinction, quality", the rules of manners specify 15 requirements for the organizations and individuals providing tourist services, namely:
- Publicize and adhere to service prices, undertake not to charge prices higher than those publicized.
- Behave decently, responsibly, amicably and respectfully towards customers.
- Commit no acts of pestering, stalking and pressuring tourists.
- Take no discriminatory acts and attitude against tourists.
Moreover, the rules of manners direct the behaviors, attitude, habits and civilized manners for other typical entities such as tourists, tour guides, restaurants, lodging establishments, etc.
The rules of civilized tourist manners under the Decision No. 718/QD-BVHTTDL came into official effect as of March 02, 2017.
