1. Permissible exposure levels of noise in the workplace
QCVN 24:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 24/2016/TT-BYT defines the permissible exposure levels of noise in the workplace:
- Permissible exposure time for sound pressure levels:
+ In 01 minute: not exceeding 112 dBA
+ In 01 hour: not exceeding 94 dBA
+ In 08 hours: not exceeding 85 dBA
- Permissible sound pressure levels at work positions:
+ Direct or on-site work or production positions: not exceeding 85 dBA
+ Functional, general administrative, accounting and planning departments: not exceeding 65 dBA
+ Brainwork, research and design, statistics, computer programming, theory testing and data processing divisions: not exceeding 55 dBA.
2. Permissible levels of lighting in the workplace
QCVN 22:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 22/2016/TT-BYT defines the permissible levels of lighting in the workplace. The following minimum illumination levels in the workplace thereof apply:
General indoor area:
- Lobby, passageway and corridor: minimum illumination level of 100 lux
- Staircase, elevator, escalator: minimum illumination level of 150 lux
- Locker room, basin room, bathroom, water closet: minimum illumination level of 200 lux
Office:
- General office, archive room, photocopy room, conference room: minimum illumination level of 300 lux
- Typing and data processing room: minimum illumination level of 500 lux
3. Permissible levels of temperature and humidity in the workplace
QCVN 26:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 26/2016/TT-BYT defines the permissible value of microclimate in the workplace. The following permissible levels of temperature and humidity apply:
- Easy work (associated with sitting, standing, walking, mostly hand movements and burning of 120 to 150 kcal/hour):
+ Temperature range: 20 to 34oC
+ Air humidity: 40 to 80%
- Average work (associated with standing, walking, moving and handling of items weighed less than 1 kg in standing and sitting positions, carrying of items weighed less than 10 kg, burning of 151 to 250 kcal/hour):
+ Temperature range: 18 to 32oC
+ Air humidity: 40 to 80%
- Heavy work (working frequently at standing or walking positions, moving and handling of items weighed more than 10 kg, burning of more than 250 kcal/hour):
+ Temperature range: 16 to 30oC
+ Air humidity: 40 to 80%
4. QCVN 21:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 21/2016/TT-BYT on high frequency electromagnetic - permissible exposure level of high frequency electromagnetic intensity in the workplace.
5. QCVN 23:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 23/2016/TT-BYT on ultraviolet radiation - permissible exposure levels of ultraviolet radiation in the workplace.
6. QCVN 25:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 25/2016/TT-BYT on industrial frequency electromagnetic fields - permissible exposure level of industrial frequency electromagnetic fields in the workplace.
7. QCVN 27:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 27/2016/TT-BYT on vibration - permissible levels of vibration in the workplace.
8. QCVN 29:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 29/2016/TT-BYT on ionizing radiation - permissible exposure limits of ionizing radiation in the workplace.
9. QCVN 30:2016/BYT annexed to the Circular No. 30/2016/TT-BYT on X-ray radiation - permissible exposure limits of x- ray radiation in the workplace.
